VACANCY ADVERT FOR THE POST OF HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING

Job Responsibilities

§ Demonstrate efficient marketing/selling skills and product knowledge
§ Develop sales strategies for the company
§ Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
§ Analyze potential partner relationships for Contact Solutions product lines.
§ Develop annual marketing and sales plan which details activities focused on meeting organizational objectives
§ Set & manage the Sales & Marketing Department Budget & targets
§ Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
§ Lead a change process of implementing new tools and building a culture based on maintenance of existing customer loyalty and winning new business
§ Supervise, motivate & monitor the performance of the Sales & Marketing team
§ Demonstrate an understanding of the business and identifying high-performance sales talent and rebuilding his team to insure continued growth.
§ Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s product/services improvements
§ Ability to provide customer feedback for product/services

Competence Requirements
§ Selling & Negotiation skills
§ Communication Skills
§ IT background
§ Experience in developing sales strategy and plan
§ Knowledge of developing sales and marketing forecasts
§ Proficiency in developing project proposals
§ Ability to be target driven
§ Entrepreneurial Skills
§ Advertising and PR knowledge
§ Expertise in new business development

Qualification & Experience
§ A relevant first degree in the social sciences or sciences. MBA Professional qualification in marketing is an added advantage
§ 5-7 years of steady progression in sales ladder, especially in the service industry
