JOB DESCRIPTION GEOPHYSICIST (SENIOR)

Provide geophysical expertise in a variety of exploration project.
Plan and execute seismic site survey, 2D and 3D acquisition including survey design, QC and reporting.
Plan and execute seismic (re) processing, including tendering and contracting.
Seismic interpretation - Generate time and depth maps on key stratigraphic horizons as required from
3D and 2D datasets. Perform depth conversion and generate detailed prospect maps.
Provides input to exploration, drilling and commercial evaluations.
Participates in peer reviews, and contributes to management and joint partner meetings.
Conduct various detailed interpretational studies to support operated, non-operated and new ventures
activity, farm-ins, as required.
Project management

COMPETENCIES
Strong geophysical skills – seismic acquisition, processing and interpretation.
Must be familiar with geophysical tools (velocity, amplitude, AVO modelling, seismic processing, etc.)
Result oriented, Strong technical background in seismic interpretation.
Effective communication skills, Team player.

QHSE
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the QHSE Management System is implemented within the operations under their control. The incumbent must actively monitor the workplace to ensure that acceptable standards are maintained. Where risks are identified the incumbent must ensure that these risks are controlled, so far as is reasonably practicable. The incumbent's duties include:
Ensuring that employees, contractors and visitors are aware of relevant QHSE procedures.
Esbstablishing that all equipment, plant and substances used are suitable for the task and are kept in good working condition: this includes the regular maintenance, calibration and servicing of equipment.
Providing adequate training, information, instruction and supervision to ensure that work is conducted without harm to people or the environment.
Taking immediate and appropriate steps to investigate and rectify any risks to people environment/equipment and quality arising from the work activity.
Bringing to the prompt attention of project management any QHSE issue that requires their attention.
Ensuring that all incidents are properly recorded and reported and that an investigation is carried out to establish and rectify root causes.

REQUIREMENTS GEOPHYSICIST (SENIOR)
Degree in Geophysics.

Production Operations Advisor at WTS Energy

JOB TITLE: PRODUCTION OPERATIONS ADVISOR (OFFSHORE)
JOB CODE: WTMD01915
LOCATION: Offshore, Nigeria

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsabilities for an Production Advisor (Offshore) will include but are not limited to the following;
To coordinate the safe execution of Production Operations activities of the offshore assets as single cohesive unit
Ensure efficient and safe operations and maintenance on board the FPSO including well control of subsea systems using competent personnel and in accordance with the code of practice in the Oil and Gas industry
To ensure that company production targets are met and export quality crude is produced on the FPSO
Mentor and train National Production Engineers.
Review work performance of production team in all aspects of procedures and production facilities
Provide advisory role to the Offshore Field Superintendent
Develop personal and work skills on the job to the able to perform the role of Field Superintendent in his absence
Execute activities with work competent work force to produce export specification crude in line with the company production forecasts
Collate data from the various production sources and analyse for trends and fluctuations. Make recommendations to Field Superintendent based on the analysis
Maintain good knowledge of all producing assets by frequent Audits of FPSO Workforce and evaluate workforce competence
Ensure that the execution of production activities by the work force is in line with production operation procedures
Ensure that good reliable operations data is gathered from the field and validated for input into Avocet
As a line supervisor ensure that corporate HSE procedures are strictly adhered to while performing all activities offshore
Implement and maintain an Occupational Health and Safety plan for site, complete with all the necessary documentation as per company policies and procedures
Conduct daily meeting with the OIM and Team Leaders

REQUIREMENTS
Senior supervisory level in Production operations.
Experience in deep water sub surface facilities is essential.
He should be a very good communicator and have the ability and desire to establish and maintain amicable relationships with all levels of employees and contractors.
He should have strong understanding and ability to ensure that risks related to Health and safety are managed and minimized to ensure cost effective operations.
A degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline is essential with at least 15 years work experience.
He should have all management characteristics, skills and expertise to manage multi-cultural and interact with multi discipline teams
Process and terminal operations experience.
Knowledgeable in subsea systems and operations.
Must be computer literate and familiar with production debottlenecking studies.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
28 days off rotation
Duration: Long term Staff job
He/She will be reporting to the Offshore Field Superintendent
For this position, preference will be given to Nigerian nationals. In case Expatriate candidate(s) are selected it is a prerequisite he/she is tasked to mentor and train a Nigerian understudy.

JOB DESCRIPTION DRILLING ENGINEER
Ensure that Rig supervisors actively implement HSE-MS and promote live use of the STOP system, PTW and Tool Box Talks on daily basis.
Perform key role of emergency response personnel
In the event of HIPO near miss, accident or none compliance, participate in Investigation with SDE & Contractor to determine route cause, learning and recommendations to Management.
Design well in compliance with the technical / industrial practices and appropriate legislative requirements. Ensure regulatory permits are available at the rigsite.
Develop detailed well construction risk register and maintain live throughout execution phase.
Prepare AFE cost estimates and analysis. Track / control the actual well cost on daily basis to ensure all well related cost are captured based on the planned AFE.
Conduct DWOP, CWOP, WWOP & AAR meetings for all wells scheduled in the Technical Work Program and ensure that comments from these meetings are fed back into the future drilling and completion programs. Timely delivery of the End Of Well Report
Working with resource teams, geologists, production and service company personnel to ensure detailed, safe, efficient Drilling/Completion/Workover program and operations
Ensure that the drilling contractor and service personnel deliver the highest quality performance and technical integrity of the wells during the execution phase
Coaching, development and supervision of younger engineers.
Follow the management of change procedure and report any deviations to the program and/or non-planned events to the SDE

Contribute to the achievement of TOTAL & OML58 Upgrade Safety Targets and Zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences
To work with the Civils & Buildings Superintendent to develop detailed and accurate short term programmes of work
To provide accurate and timely reporting of progress against the plan; maintain a daily Diary / Report, to monitor external changes to work plans and report the effect of change
To plan the programming of day to day resource requirement and communicate these to the construction team
To interface with other Site Supervisors to share best practice and ensure effective resource utilization
Control Contractors’ achievements in accordance with contractual requirements in areas such as safety, environmental protection, technical requirements, planning, production etc…
Make necessary co-ordination and arbitration between different disciplines on site.
Liaise and support Vendor / Contractor representative during Pre-commissioning and Commissioning phase
Supervise a large national workforce and community contractors
Liaise with QC Engineer and ensure works are signed off and approved prior to covering up
Ensure sufficient stocks of materials are maintained for effective progress of works

REQUIREMENTS BUILDING SUPERVISOR
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 7 years in the Construction Industry
QUALIFICATION: Civil Engineering / Construction / Building Qualifications
Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures and Legislation
Autonomous, self motivating; ability to motivate and influence people. Problem solving ability.
Must be fluent in English, Strong communication and coordination skills,
