JOB PURPOSE/SPECIFICATION:
•To analyze maintenance work for ensuring availability of spare parts/tools needed.
•Prepare time & cost estimates for work orders, and define specifications of work contracted with electrical/mechanical heads.
•Control cost, analyze budget for labour, materials and investment for best quality of services.
•Reduce/eliminate unsafe conditions for workers, contractors. equipment by supporting safety programmes, using appropriate techniques and trainings.
•Update information on CMMS and generate specification for the purchase of required parts.
•Manage spare parts codification and support periodic review of spare part stock.
•Update work plans with spare part needs.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
•B.SC/HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
•Must be computer literate, conversant with hydraulic & pneumatic circuits, gearboxes, transmissions, welding techniques, lubrication, mechanical non-  distinctive testing, function & maintenance of equipment (crusher, stacker, reclaimed, raw mill. belt conveyors and auxiliary equipment)
•Must possess communication. negotiation and analytical problem solving skills.
•Minimum 0-15 years post NYSC technical experience.
•Experience in cement industry will be preferred.
