JOB PURPOSE/SPECIFICATION:
• To manage & operate plant automation systems (2 Main Servers + 6 Clients + 1 Engineering Station + Plant Guide Server 3 Clients + CEM Scanner System + 10 Central PLCs 24 Local PLCs ) through planned preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Keep track of use and order spare parts for the system
• Manage and operate:
• Windows Server and XP editions Siemens S7 PLCs Hardware
• Siemens Step 7 Sof1waro and programming using FBDILAD/STL
•  Siemens S7 Safety PLCs
• Industrial Ethernet andTCP in IP Networks
• ECS (FLS Automation Process Control System) Proface HMI Displays and Profibus Dp Networks

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• B.Sc/HND in Electrical/Electronics or Communication Engineering. Experience in heavy industrial plants, involved in large scale blasting. grinding, milling and packaging of cement is required for the job.
• Minimum of 8 years post NYSC experience as an Automation Engineer in multi-discipline and multi-cultural environment.
